Welcome to “Tinker Tuesdays” here at Team Dream. Tinker is the dreadlocked godfather of XC Mountain Biking here in Southern California. His Carreer has spanned longer then most of our readers have been alive and his 90’s Jheri Curl is one of the best things to ever to happen to bicycle racing. The idea for our new Tuesday post was inspired by the “Merckx Mondays” feature found on Prolly is Not Probably.

Cache & Eyer Paint For The Chubby Boob Fund Raiser

Team Dream’s own Cache recently collaborated w/ his friend Eyer and painted this Aventon track frame for Chubby Boob. The money raised will help finance an upcoming Chubby Boob team trip. Cache’s chicken murals can be seen all throughout Los Angels and hopefully we will see more bicycle projects like this from him in the future.

Good Luck Ty!

One of our favorite Mudfooters will be embarking on a self supported mountain bike ride from Canada to Mexico while competing in the Tour Divide. Ty will be accompanied by Team Dreamer & Mudfoot “mad man” Jeff Stroot (who i have no photos of). I would like to wish them both the best of luck. Fortunately, Ty has been on a very strict regiment of “whiskey training” for months, so I’m sure he will do great.

Today just so happens to be “Friend Appreciation Day” on the Team Dream Calendar. I would just like to say a quick “THANK YOU” to all the people involved with the Woody products. Meet Thomas “Woody” Wood, proprietor of Golden Saddle Cyclery, cycling coach, former messenger, US Olympic mechanic, Master Track National Champion, new dad, and all around good dude. This tall tree took a spill mountain biking and now has a rather large accumulation of medical bills that need to be paid.

The red, white and blue bobcat t-shirt & purist water bottle are here to commemorate Woody’s National Masters Championship, his commitment to the US Olympic Cycling program, and to support him for being an all around good guy.

That was tough! The only reason Aaron and I are smiling here is because Gerry stopped turning the screws for 5 seconds to ham it up for a group photo. If you were not able to make it out for the Mudfoot Hump Hundo this past Sunday I would strongly suggest marking your 2014 calander today. New Bike Day! Here are a few images of my brand new (literally) 1991 Stump Jumper that was gifted to me by my good pal & Team Dream co founder Gerry Cody. Gerry is a professional cyclist who has placed top 10 at The Leadville 100 (3 years in a row) and La Ruta. All those years of getting dropped again and again and again while training with my “best buddy” have finally paid off…in the form of a silver rigid gem. Not a bad consolation prize if i do say so!
